Our favorite hang out in Midtown. We love to throw a couple darts and drink a beer here. Music is always good and played at a level that allows you to hear regular conversation. Drinks are priced appropriately and the bartenders are, more often than not, very personable and friendly. They have very limited food choices, but seem amenable to bringing in outside food which is super cool of them. Great place to watch Houston sporting events with PASSIONATE fans. Kinda feels like Cheers, small bar, lots of regulars, but friendly to everyone.

Friendly bartenders, good crowd, good prices, and parking. Easily walk around the area to stretch your legs. Never tried their food so can't i comment but they do allow you to bring your own food inside.

Great spot. Most reasonably priced drinks anywhere, especially Midtown! Pool tables, darts, and good people. 10/10 would recommend. Bring your own food! Or they have a pizza oven with Digiorno pizzas

Great little bar with pool table and darts. Has that Irish pup feel to it. Bartender was awesome. Highly recommend to someone who wants to get off the beaten path.

Midtown's definitive and fantastic neighborhood bar. Love the two pool tables and two dart boards. Crowd is always chill and it's got a very Cheers-esque vibe.

Dog house will forever be my favorite bar in Houston. I constantly bring friends here to introduce them to the atmosphere while also just coming here to have a beer while working ajd knowing I will be safe. Jeremy, Eli; and Mary always make me feel seen and safe. The biggest plus to this bar is feeling SAFE in spite of everything else
